What a threat by religious figures…

So we will be deprived from a religious burial if we get a civil marriage?!? Really? Read my lips:

I DO NOT WANT YOUR PRAYERS!!!

I would rather be cremated and ashes dropped in the sea, blessed by the prayers of my loved ones, being my treasure and heritage, than be prayed for by men of hatred. Men that make corruption a blessing by getting paid cash, despicably in an envelope, at every faith milestone of our lives! Ironic how they threaten with my after life… In the name of the God I cherish & worship…

I worship the God that taught me that Love and Forgiveness are above all, a God that created all men and women equal. My God listens to the prayers of little kids, and honest people. The poorer you are the more your prayer and faith are valued…

So my God doesn’t listen to men wearing colorful clothes, with weird hats, and rattling jewelry for their prayer, let alone their threat. In fact my God sends “faith traders” and “faith politicians” to hell…

Meanwhile, and for the remaining 40 years preceding my entry to eternity, I will only surrender and support every effort for social laws under which we Lebanese human mortals are all, with no exception, equal in rights and responsibilities and judged based on such…

So to you parliamentarians, foundation of our republic and our trust, wearing Armani and Hugo Boss suits, riding fancy cars with blue license plates, wearing jewelry and perfumes, paid to show off on each other, behaving like primates, and fearing them men in black, do you really believe that God will listen to this clergy when it comes to human rights and societal equality & respect? No, that is your responsibility and will remain yours, in this life as much as in the one after…

    Fady,,,

I do agree except…if only it was this simple in this country…

God help us all (& By God i mean the one who is WITH civil marriage)
    :)

The Maronite patriarch and other Christian clergy said they will not oppose the civil marriage, the Shiite council press release was somewhere in the middle between yes and no and then let’s postpone it since we have too much to take care of right now,but Kabbani threatened to excommunicate any Muslim who approves the civil marriage … actually you may not need their prayers but you have to pin point better next time.let’s call a cat a cat and stop the jesuitish grey.

    • Dear Mr. X, I cannot believe you used the “Lepetitjesus” as nickname, not to mention the allah@heaven.com email address and yet you insist on taking stances on religious issues, I wonder what clergy would have said on that…. anyhow.

As for calling a cat a cat: Do you really think that there is a difference between bad talk and no act and nice talk yet no act? Except that one is hypocrite and the other is aggressive? Good men are men that act as they say. So to your point on Patriarch Rai, I refer to the post on his visit to Qatar about a year ago and his claims then. (out of which I will leave you a judge on any progress) http://wp.me/p1VbnC-i7

Meanwhile I believe you skipped the most important part, which is, regardless what the religious men have to say, the responsibility remains on the men we entrusted the power to represent us the parliamentarian and that is black on white (last paragraph just in case).

Finally, If I have one recurrent request from God: it is that He saves me from his politicized followers, delegates and representatives….

  3. Heaven @ Heaven

    Fadi Abou Jamra,

May God rebuke you and the other devils who support your devilish essay… If you wish to get married with a civil law do what you please and don’t spit your poison on clergies and mock their custom clothes, and let me remind you and those who mock clergies and other religious men that even the judge who will hold the civil marriage for you will take HIS MONEY CASH DESPICABLY IN AN ENVELOPE,EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE RELIGIOUS MARRIAGE…

    • Correct “Heaven @ Heaven”, but in Civil Societies cash in envelopes is called corruption It is a bad thing, and such acts are held accountable by law when applied, also no one in civil society claims sainthood… on the other hand, how is this cash in envelope called in religious societies? how could it be held accountable (in this life) if it is badly qualified? or is it hidden because it is a shame or ok because it passes? Is it more or less devilish than my essay?

On a side note: What strikes me out most is that use of nicknames and hiding of identities :)

this is an opinion which is free and human decision, well such company with one calling himself heaven and talks in hate speech is questionable and it’s a choice not a must by the way…
